Even without a nice view. I am very grateful! Ever since we moved to NYC 5 years ago, we have been staying in a run down walk up apartment building. It's a very small 2 bedroom apartment less than 600 sq ft. It is also along Frederick Douglass close to 142nd so there are a lot of people hanging outside our building. There's also several delis and a liquor store in our block. So just imagine our living environment before HRPS! LOL. And whats worse is our rent is still so much higher than what we have in HRPS! So I am definitely not complaining! I just envy all of you who got nice views! But I believe that God is sovereign! And the apartment we got is what He wants for my family!
My son is a classical pianist, we have a piano in our apartment. Since we got the 2 bedroom at the end of the building without a view, it might be better for all the tenants since the piano will be facing the wall of the building. My son's piano playing won't be bothering anyone! LOL! He practices 5 hours a day and he is really banging the piano!
My wife and I could not sleep after we saw the apartment! Don't you just love the kitchen? Can't wait to move in!

I see what you're saying! Unfortunately we did try that and you lose a lot of space because the corner is smaller than it is and I have a 47 inch . I would have to get a smaller TV... Oh and he fact that my wife doesn't like he back of the couch facing the kitchen, or the entrance of the apartment..

Congrats again! The buying seems to be well insulated so the sound may not be too loud. Maybe your son can hold a session for us forum users lol!

If I had an apt on your side of the hallway my view would be good but I'm facing HRPN so no view for me lol

You never know how much you have until you begin to pack it up. I saw someone moving in yesterday during one of my cigarette breaks - not sure if that was you.
