Not sure why my word was censored. It was not even close to being profane. What was it? Fraud, with the letters ster added to it.

Us mods don't do that - the site does it automatically FYI.

You would think someone would call Al Sharpton out on Tawana Brawley every now and then to put him in check, but no; the man is the de facto "king maker" of NYC and even national politics far as the AA community is concerned. The real question is just what has it gotten them?

Most Black folk that I have spoken to do not hold him in high regard.

Tawana Brawler happened when I was a little boy in the 80s. Basically, who gives a **** about something that happened that long ago. Life does on on. Perhaps that's why people don't call him out on that. Its just so whatever.

Calling someone for something they did when they did it? Great. Constantly calling someone out 30 years later? LAME, LAME, LAME.

Sharpton has made a number of racist and anti-semitic speeches through the years denouncing "white interlopers" and "diamond merchants". Some of these speeches were followed by violent attacks on innocent people. Was there a connection? Sharpton has never been held to account for the things he's said and done. Instead he seems to be regarded as an elder statesman of the civil rights movement and gets his own television show on MSNBC.

Thank Bloomberg's stupendously packed envelopes to "Rev. Al" for weight loss. Current paid informants have made long careers from pacifying blacks and from passing information to financial backers (FBI, Fortune 500 companies, billionaire mayors, etc.).

He had to cough up a six figure civil judgement after the Brawley case. I believe it was to the DA in the Brawley case, Pagones?
