lol.

I sometimes threaten to humiliate my wife by taking her to Fordham Road and dressing her like a mannequin at one of the stores there. It's a kinky thing.

A burlington coat factory just came in, a TJ-Maxx, famous footwear, Marshall's been there about 2 years, an American Eagle is set to come in soon, etc.
payless is absolutely hood. you think they would be allowed to open up shop on the cushy upper east side? 59th to 86th street area. you're right, there are folk who trash payless, because they're usually in the mom & pops buying jordans on Saturday. you cannot deny the fact that fordham road, along with the hub are the epitome of ratchet, hoodrat shopping at its finest.

It is but it's changing. In this past year many of the more hood oriented stores closed...

Fordham Rd is not any more ghetto than 3rd ave in East Harlem. Actually Fordham Road is more diverse, and not as hood as say Pitkin ave in Brooklyn for instance.

this is inaccurate. 3rd avenue is less hood, and changing for the better, at a much faster pace than Fordham road. with all new development condos and rentals, from 116tth to 124th street alone. way less ghetto than Fordham.

If u dont like Fordham Rd then dont f*cking go there to shop. You may think youre too good to shop there, but it certainly is a strip gettin money from its target audience and its been gettin money from them LONG before miley cyrus discovered "twerking".....

I never saw it as ghetto.....but then again anything thats not on 5th Ave or in williamsburg is probably considered ghetto trash to most of you f*cks anyway.....nevermind.......

They were never all "hood oriented" to begin with........I remember a PC richard and son used to be on Fordham and Grand Concourse........

Its obvious some of the posters here either never lived within the NYC limits or never ventured far outside manhattan........
