I will be moving from London to NYC with three kids. I will be a stay at home mumso I don't need a fully qualified nanny who drives etc. but more of a mothers help. All household chores and help with the kids.

I was wondering what the rate is for a full time live out nanny/ housekeeper. A full time live in nanny/ housekeeper

I don't have high demands in terms of qualifications and spoken English. But of course quality of work and trustworthiness is key

Thanks

Oh we are looking to move to the suburbs. Westchester maybe.

Thanks

Hire a phillipina lady. They will be yours for life if you want them.

Nanny - When visiting to find a place to stay, go to local school you hope to enroll your kids in. Ask around for guidance and recommendation of nanny. Most good schools have a organization of dedicated parents willing to assist each other and helping the kids who attend the school.

House cleaning - I tend to use yelp.com (read reviews and local services in the area)

You're looking at about $800/week.

That's if you want someone responsible, experienced with children, LEGAL, and even halfway literate.
