Why would Dante sag his pants? At the least his presence may end up being a positive example for other young black males in this city, something that is sorely needed.

What kind of example?

You mean other young black males will grow a huge afro?

And then maybe all the other young black girls can wear a witch's hat or a garland of flowers in their hair.

Geez...not the black teens that I know.

No. Maybe other young black males will pull up their pants and show some RESPECT for themselves and everyone around them. No one wants to see their disgusting underwear or the crack of their azz.

In addition, Dante is a quiet, unassuming kid --- he's not going around trying to prove how "hood" or "thug" he is, acting like a jackasss and bouncing around like an imbecile.

Gee the horror of an 18 year old girl trying different styles and having fun!!! My goodness.... the NERVE of her! The "garland of flowers" is known as a floral crown and many, many young girls wear them. It's nothing new. As for the witch hat? So what???? It was New Years Eve and she was having FUN. I don't see the problem with that!

Don't need to personally know them. Just know that most black parents who care about their sons don't tolerate certain behavior. They know what assumptions a cop might make and what they might do. Mrs. de Blasio has spoken out about her experiences of racism. She knows that some cops will just see a black kid, and not be concerned about what he is like as an individual, or what kind of home he comes from. Or in the case of Dante, that his father is white.

Indeed some of the saggies who you see pull them up before they go home.

De Blasio was sworn in at midnight on New Years eve at home. That's a New Years party hat on Chiara's head. It says Happy New Year right on it in black glitter. They were probably celebrating New Years that night.
What's it to you how she decorates her hair anyway?

What's it to you what she wears on her head when her dad is being inaugurated? Or if they were celebrating New Years?

What a moronic post.

I'm not the one that noticed the glitter and assumed the family was celebrating New Years. Hmmmm..................
