Crime is higher in these areas, no doubt...but to say that getting your throat slit by a Blood on your way to the train is a remotely accurate portrayal of East/Spanish is ludicrous at best..and demonstrates your posts as just more fear mongering.

It does not happen every day, of course. It's an inititation method. A new Blood doesn't come into play every day.
By the way, I don't read crime blotters and I know numerous NYPD cops and a couple security guards - Bronx and the UES near Spanish Harlem.
And I suppose 95% of the "NYC's perfect!" posters here are bankers...

Lol....no need to make excuses...or back down now...your point was clear: East/Spanish Harlem = throat slashed by bloods that run the area.
I stand by my statement..more fear mongering...

I said they are known for that, I never said it happens every day. Don't put words in my mouth, buddy. I don't expect people on here to know anything about crime or criminal justice. Genius, what's a perimeter barrier? And no looking it up. I know my ****.

Hehe...yes FutureCop...you know what a perimeter barrier means AND you know a couple of security guards...therefore what you say must be a true and accurate assessment of East Harlem...lol.
I cannot take your posts seriously anymore...but they are entertaining though...as a result I will view them as such. =)

FutureCop, you don't know what you're talking about because you're from Scarsdale.
You don't. Stop making things up, kid.

I'm making nothing up, dreamers. You know, I used to think NYC was prefectly safe when I was 9, when NYC became safe overall. But as I grew up and got know to police and studied this career field, I found the truth. EAST Harlem is a dump, end of story.
People, wake the **** up. I won't deny that NYC is an overall safe city, but to say every neighborhood is becoming a good place to live is ridiculous.
Of course nobody will take my side, because you all are believing too hard, you all don't want to accept the fact that all of New York isn't a good place to live. But hey, I know I'm right, and whether or not you think it's a good idea is up to you. I can't change your yuppified minds, but when the time comes that you walk through there and get your *** beat you'll be like "Oh, ****, FutureCop wasn't lying!" as you are chased down 119th by thugs with a bud in their mouth.
Believe what you want, I think I made myself heard on here. And people who actually know a thing or two about crime will agree with me. I'm a member of a site where loads of NYPD cops post, and they will say the same that I'm saying right now.
Wake up! We're not in Disney World here, we're in America's largest city.

Lol..thanks for the newsflash that East Harlem is a dump! I hope that one day you can fulfill your dream of being a cop instead of just hanging on internet boards with them.
And last time I was on 42nd Street..it WAS DisneyWorld!

I don't just hang on the net with them. I know cops who are not on the boards.
And no, 42nd isn't Disney World. A bright street =/= Disney, genius. Why don't YOU grow up?
By the way, you're welcome for the insight from someone who actually knows what they're talking about when discussing crime, criminal justice, and security.

Yes the entire city-data forum owes you a debt of gratitude for your insights to the non-existent yet apparently common throat slashings by Bloods in East Harlem that you heard about from your 2 security guard friends.
Lol...FutureCop...keep posting....now that Hustla has been banned we need someone like you to keep things fun.
