i am moving to nyc and will be working in manhattan.
am looking to buy a house in the burbs and am ok with 60-75 min commute - ny or connecticut suburbs is what I am thinking.
any suggestions on suburbs with the best school districts?
is it better to stay in connecticut as it seems they have lower house taxes?
what is your budget on this house. If you are going to look north look at the Metro North Railroad spurs---- New Haven-Harlem and Hudson--- your budget would determine which line. To the east is Long Island and to the west is New Jersey.
Once you say how much you are willing to spend we could advise you as to where to look.
Post your question in the westchester and Long Island forums. Not all suburban towns and villages are alike.
