Looks like Gov Christie might be really going down now:

Gov. Chris Christie knew about George Washington Bridge lane closures during shutdown - NY Daily News

"Gov. Chris Christie, despite his denials, was aware in September of the George Washington Bridge lane closings that spawned massive gridlock, a former Port Authority official claims.
A Friday letter on behalf of David Wildstein — the Christie appointee at the heart of the scandal — charged the governor knew what was happening as his sweaty constituents sat in their cars….."

Until he can prove it, it's premature to state it as fact.

Wildstein's already lost his job over the ordeal, and might be bitter about it.

Well it is really more of a New Jersey problem rather than a New York State problem at this point.

Well,he was Christie's appointment. They went to High School together and he has been one of Christie's strongest allies and close friend since day 1.Kind of doubt he would say he has proof if he doesn't have it.I'm sure he would have done better by taking the fall and keeping his mouth shut.

Everything having to do with whoever is Governor of NJ, can unfortunately be a NY problem.

I can’t stand Christie, but that article is vague to the point of being unfair. What does “having knowledge of the lane closures” mean? Did he only know that the lanes were closed in general? Or did he also know who closed them and why?

Come on. Has ANYONE seriously doubted that he knew everything? Only a matter of time before it's proven.
