I initially thought Pre-K was half day. But it's full day, so it is glorified babysitting paid for by the taxpayer. What a complete waste of time and money.
Meanwhile, a friend of mine has a son who teaches 33 3rd graders in not the best part of The Bronx. He desperately needs an aid, but there is no money for the aid.
Now let's assume pre-K starts next year. I guaranteed you that the 33 kids this guy in The Bronx has in four years that completed pre-K, will be just as difficult and unteachable as the kids he has now. Why? Because it's all up to the parents, pre-K or no pre-K.
