In Manhattan below Central Park, 14th, 23rd, 34th, 42nd (as mentioned above), 53rd (I include mostly because MoMA is there), and 57th.

Avenues and Streets are normally perpendicular to each other.

Avenues take us from the starting point of development and sprawls us outwards. For example from the NY Harbor by Lower Manhattan making its way uptown, or from western Queens making their way eastwards. Brooklyn spread both south and east at the same time, so you'll notice there avenues go in all sorts of directions.

Around Flatbush you'll see the E50s turn into the E90s in a heartbeat.
