In my neighborhood near Glen Oaks in Queens some person or persons puts stickers of the Montreal Expos logo on mail boxes, fire alarm boxes, those free newspaper boxes, etc. The Expos haven't been in Montreal in ten years and really didn't have a big New York fan base anyway. I didn't see any explanation when I googled the stickers. Is there some meaning to it?
Well, they were considered a loosing team who played in a stadium that looked like a commode. I don't think too many fans really liked them.
Maybe the person doing this is a fan and is reaching out with a "bat" signal, trying to find others of his kind.
I thought maybe it was a gang sign like certain baseball caps are used by gangs (not that there are any gangs I am aware of here). I've seen these stickers for years and they caught my eye again today when I was mailing a letter.

Just a kid horsing around, perhaps? I don't think there's really much to make of it.
Gang signs near Glen Oaks? Lol I think you don't have to worry.

Probably someone with a bunch of stickers who is a fan of the former franchise logo too. Anyway, the Expos will return by the year 2018-2020. You can mail me 250$ now for that prediction.
