Orientaion ends around 1:00pm and that's it you are finished for the day. When you leave you will get paperwork with the date of your medical. You cannot do anything before you go to the clinic on Beaver St. for your medical. Hopefully it falls on a Tuesday or Wednesday. The clinic will give you the paperwork you need for the other tests. Good luck

Thing i learned from applying for city jobs before and having filled out the booklet before is to always make copies of the whole thing first. I made a copy of booklet i submitted previously so I can just copy my previous info and add whatever i need to it before submitting to DSNY. Also the booklet you submit to DSNY you should make a copy of also in case somewhere down the road you must defend yourself against their claiming of your giving false information you can have that with you.
Maybe a search of the DCAS site on nyc.gov...just by chance they might have PDFs of the booklet. It's called the Citywide Personnel Document.
See you guys from Wed/Thurs at the hearing test.

I just wanna wish all the guys whose list numbers are from 100-150 a lot of luck with this. It's a great group of guys and I was starting to have a good time with you guys at the medical and stuff. Hopefully we all get on the job together. Good luck.

Same to you Mike. I was thinking the other day about you and I pulling up to the old high school in the truck for career day. The brothers mouths would drop open. Doctors, lawyers, engineers and ....garbagemen. See you at hearing maybe.

After the medicals........They call. Everything done after that will be by phone....No more letters...Although they probably send a letter when you are actual hired, for records...I'm guessing on that though.....
