Bklyn We couldn't tell ya .. Because we dont know exactly when we are going to be hired.. If we don't get hired they dont call anymore people ... When we get hired you'll probably hear more about people getting screened.

Yeah but if you break it down by hour you are getting a lot more training through sanitation. After your breaks it comes out to 6 hours and 45 minutes a day. Compared to whatever the normal lesson is you are getting more for your money through sanitation than an outside place.

I can tell you this I never drove a truck and on monday we drove basically on an open field for 45 minutes and on tuesday we were out on the streets. Be confident FBF obviously is confident in you. Today I didn't drive at all just parked and 50 ft backing and that was maybe 10 minutes. Tomorrow I will be out on the streets and on the highway. So if anybody living in south brooklyn plan on going out tomorrow just remember there are 20 guys driving around that have no clue what they are doing!!!!!
Bro... dont freeze. If you know your pre trip top to bottom . then you are half way there.. If you know your in cab then are almost there..Do your brake tests...Backin up.... com'on I KNOW you know that. If you can drive that rig up towards Kings highway then you can drive it west towards bensonhurst and your breakfast stop. By now you should be comfortable to calling out all your hazzards. i'am not an instructor now: but i used to be one. AND ALL MY STUDENTS passed!

7XXSanitList,

On Staten Island, you can go to AAAA Driving on Richmon Avenue in Eltingville. You can get a 5 lesson package for $400 plus they charge $180.00 to rent the bus for your road test. Otherwise, you can pay I think $85 per lesson. I would recommend 3(x $85), would cost $255 plust the road test vehicle charge.
Some people might be more comfortable training 6 hrs/day on a truck instead of a bus, which I could understand. But if you don't have have the time to spend a full week at FBF then a class like this 3 or 4x for 1 hour that works around YOUR schedule may be a better choice.
Lastly, the instructor at AAAA is Jack and he's a real good guy.
Good Luck!!
