On top of that, does the city match any contributions?

I WOULD CHOOSE THE 457 BECAUSE YOU CAN TAKE YOUR MONEY OUT BEFORE YOUR 59 th IN A HALF BIRTHDAY .

Hey Grapes I said it before everyone is different. No offense to the OTJ guys but you and everyone else needs to talk with someone like a personel finance person to determine what is best for them. If you want grapes give me a PM an I'll discuse this with you or anyone else.

I'm more interested in what health plan people use and are they happy with them. I'll have to take a family plan but there is an opt out available. My wife has alot better plan where she works and if I elect to get covered my plan is the primary one with hers as the secondary because of our birthdays. If I decide to opt out can I receive the benefits latter on or am I SOL latter?

heres the math:
latest list #'r to get called from board :26x...maybe a few more next couple of days.

100 for class = boils down to a 1:3 ratio to make it to final processing.(i know 2 that had to get skipped over for unfortunate circumstances).

who knows the amount of gaps for the next 100..which tend to be bigger than the first.....good luck to everyone!!

I spoke to someone and they are pretty much the same the difference is that with a 401k if you have an ira you can roll it over into your 401k you can't do that with 457. I have to think about it, Thanks Joe
