there is no deal with shin guards... dont wear them .. unless you want to be at the mercy of everyone else laughter.... there is no need for them .. if you can't handle the weight of garbage then it shouldnt be a job you choose... as for your buddy telling you its a good idea, i thinkk he is wrong... My opinion......

As for Monday ... i'm getting a little anxious myself .. i even went and got my car checked out at the mechanic just to make sure everything was running smooth .lol i also called up Mac's to double check on my uniform order .. loll Now we know how the first class felt when they were just days away from starting their new careers!

Default question

question for the guys that just got OTJ.
how are the garages? do they all have weights, pool tables, lunch rooms, lockers,etc...?
also, how is everyone finding the commute? do most of you have cars? are the garages easily accessible by train/bus?

good luck.
1 love.

The last exam was in 2003,which over 40,000 applied, eligibles list was around 22,000. Last number to be hired was #8259. This exam #6063 has a very large eligibles list of 29,276. Good thing you bought up the 1999 exam though. No hires in 2002 because of what happened on 9/11/2001,so they ended up with 1,947 hires from your 1999 exam. 2,595 from the 2003 exam.

bk11 has one of the nicest gyms i have seen so far with bk10 coming in second place. bx1 has a pullup/dip bench...and a curling bar.

i haven't seen a garage with a pool table yet. the lunch rooms in bx1 and bx3a are tiny. all garages have a locker room. a small reliable car is a must.

My Garage has a pool with a swim-up bar, Lounge chairs, and an all you can eat lunch buffet on Wednesday.

Never happen.Soon as they start to pull that **** (which they already tried in the past from what I heard) everyone will slow down.I really dont think Im "broadcasting" information to people who dont already know what goes on.If you think management and the higher ups arent aware of this, you need to get a reality check. You cannot determine how long a person should take to do a job like this.Theres too many elements when you leave that garage.Traffic, weather, amount of trash, all kinds of **** happens while your out there.

Default Countdown to Monday

60 hours and 3 minutes until we arrive at FBF for Day 1 of the rest of our lives.

I wanted to thank everyone who is already on the job and those from the July class who have helped the August class prepare for this moment.

I still would like to hear from the rest of the guys and see which of the healthcare options you selected?
