I heard there is suppposed to be one more sanworker class and one supervisor class before nite plow. Which is sanitation lingo for early November. For the new sanworkers who might currently be carpooling, after your first 30 days are up chances are you will be bouncing shifts and going out of town alot. You may not be able to stick together with each other, so keep that in mind and make arrangements for that possiblility NOW. Good luck.

Oh and as for that whole slowing down thing trust me it doesn't always work .This job is changing day by day week by week and it hasn't always been for the better .I think people who have gotten some time on will agree with me .

Kuai that is def. the best way to go. Did you discover that yourself or did you take my suggestion. Either way thats good. How long is it taking you?

friend of mine told me about it. i live by the VNB so my gps told me to take the triborough...but the tolls would suck...takes me 35 minutes with no traffic

whats up people,its been a while since i logged in.good luck on august class.im still waiting for my number to be called 13##,i figure it will be around the 2nd class of 2009 probaly near june ,tell me what you people think.

just a few questions..

1. does anyone have an exact list of what we need to get from the uniform store? I know we dont need it first day but I wanted to run out tomorrow and get it out of the way.
2. Am I reading the forum right... two guys from SI got stationed in the bronx? That ****in sucks... I was hoping for brooklyn or manhattan (i know SI is impossible to get)

actually at least 30 people got sent to the bronx...5 of which who I personally know are from staten island. everyone else seems to be from brooklyn who got sent to the bronx
