just because you don't receive the answer on the same page doesn't mean they can't go back a page and read it....its not like if you post it and no one replies that ur question is gone. If you notice, it tells you when the post was made. People usually go back to the page they last looked at. People don't just go to the last page and thats the end of that.

look if your not gonna be able to get to work you have to let someone know no matter what. It sucks that the gut got fired but thats 2 times he didn't tell anyone.

Actually he only did a no call no show ONCE. On the other AWOL he said he had an emergency and couldn't come to work but he couldn't prove that the emergency was legit.

AWOL does not just mean not calling or showing. It means Absent without official leave. Yes, this includes no calls no shows, but even if you do call to let them know your not coming you still need to back it up with some validity.

The bottom line is this: take this job seriously. show up on time (actually get there at least 30 min early)
