Thanks guys...... ive been hearing alot of san workers being laid off and then re-hired in previous posts, does this happen often?....and if you do get laid off, is there a possibility that it could be for good?

well I did say from my experience and my experience = 7 days. And thus far, the supervisors I have dealt with from bx1 (5 days), bx3a(2 days), bk10 (1 day), bk11(4 days) were good. I never said I had a **** load of experience, this is just what I said it was...from my experience.

Supervisors must put anything they ask you to do extra on your 350 and if they don't then you are not required to do it. Now if you feel like doing it and it was an envelope and you get caught doing something that wasn't written on your card that's on you.

This doesn't happen that often. The union technically can't tell us to work slower in rebellion, but they do remind us that we have 8 hours to complete our tasks. If you give a **** about your fellow sanman you will no longer run up your route. They told us that the last time people were laid off that they were rehired in 2 weeks or something like that...yup ALL OF THEM were rehired.

You are not being asked personally. It was a general question that I am sure was pointed in the direction of someone that has been on the job for some time. But it is obvious you are eager about the job. That's fine and dandy. But you should take a lil time before answering everyones questions because you don't know it all. Ish I don't know it all myself and have been on the job since 04. Its great that you are ambitious about the job but there are lots of people that read this forum and alredy have labled you a know it all.

Yeah, I am sure its only one or two. But they will learn real fasdt with some night mlp in the rain or cornercaps. Its allllllways better to be quiet sit back and observe than to be to smart for your own good. Did you hear they sent jimmy to the dump at cut off cause his partner went downstairs in street clothes.

so are you saying that if your caught doin something that wasnt written up for you to do your in trouble even if its something petty like delivering an envelope... and im assuming that a 350 is like a work order or a list of things you have to do or done?..... do they sometimes not write it on your 350 or forget by accident and its somthing you have to look out for when your on the job?

You and sanman1221 are a little too harsh here. The guy is answering questions that he feels he can, to the best of his knowledge, just to try to help. Instead of wasting your time bashing him, just answer the questions......
