hey Epyon7280.... i just had a quick question about the classes that i think u might have an answer for.... based on whats happened in the past with classes i was wondering how soon would u guys at HR kno about a new class cause now were all hearing that the might not be one till next year..... i kno some people said that the city could get the money and the department could get the go ahead for another class overnight u kno..... but my question basically is how soon can the city actually change its mind and how much time do u guys at HR need to get ready for a class.....like if its goin to be in Oct. when would u kno i guess like Sept right?

People on this board are not honest when it comes to this job and more classes. We do not need more workers and in fact we have too many. We need people to retire. With the budget problems facing the city dont expect another class for at least a couple of years.

the z monster attacks the front row yet again. another person was caught sleeping in class today in front of the representative from the clinic. Another guy is caught using his cellphone in class. this is only week two, and we lost one guy already i hope we dont lose anymore. If the guy next to you is dozing off, just nudge him its that simple. On the plus side we get to work nights now. (extra pay yeah)

one of the chiefs today also said we were overmanned at this time, but don't let that discourage anyone from getting their cdl and prepping up for when they do start calling. You don't wanna that guy who was called and then got skipped over because you didn't have everything ready. Take advantage of the time now
