For any of you gus in the city, today I went to Schlesinger & son Home
I got a XXL zip up hooded sweatshirt with name for $35 and 2 long sleeve tees in a XXL for $20 each $27 with name. Totla was $89, I thought that was pretty good. Jo Paul wanted $49 for the hoodie

I have a question for all of the guys who have done their 2 days of OJT Broom training after they were assigned to a garage.
If you went and reported directly to a different garage (other than your home district) to train for a mechanical broom, should we be looking at receiving hours for those days spent at the mechanical broom garage?
The sharing of your knowledge is greatly welcomed and appreciated.

depends if you are out of town or not. usually their is a garage with brooms in your town I.E. I believe you said you went to M3A which is a Man West garage so if you are assigned to a West Gagage you will not recieve out of town hours.

Depends on what garage you are assigned to. If your regular garage is an east side garage Say M10 and you were sent to an east side broom garage M3a (yes its an east side garage) no you do not get hours. But if you went to m4a, A west side garage yes you make hours but only for the first day NOT the two days you were there.
I recall you asking for directions for m4a. Are you from an east garage. Signed in at m4a and trained with someone at m3a. If you are then you 4 get hours.

I was at Varsity in the Bronx today. The long sleeve tees were $22, regular non zip hoodies were $32 and the thermal lined zipper hoodies are $60. The name is included in the price of the item.
Is your zip up lined? That's worth a trip into the city.

yes it is lined it is the same one that jo paul has I believe mac's has the same.
this really good guy in my garage swears that the zip up hoodies at varsity are twice as thick as the ones everybody else has so it may be worth it. I'm still waiting so I don't have the stuff in front of me to give you the brand name.
$22 for the tee with the name is $5 less then i spent. Is $7 for the name a lot???? I checked my mac's receipt they charged me $4 so i guess it is high and I have to wait 10 days, that wasn't a big deal it is still warm out.
For me it is a quick train ride so I went. I was looking at their wall of wallets too, I didn't ask any prices but everything seemed to be less expenive too. I know a lot of guys from july went to Manhattan and if they transferred out then a lot of August guys are there. Nobody ever brings up this place maybe they are good. I will let you know when I get my stuff
