and finally is there free parking avaliable there? or is there a parking garage there.

thank you
this is good news for round 2ers!

i went on a sat and found a choice spot but weekdays must be a *****.i think they have a bunch of munimeters..weekday traffic+parking=leave early.

i was hot in a hoodie in the winter, dress cool.any work boots .sweats and a t are fine.

epoxy, did you hear of this before hand or is it news to you?

do your higher ups alert you to upcoming events before hand or is info gathered watercooler style?

would it be right to assume that dcas, with many tests to run,has to set a schedule for a couple of years in advance.if they were to test when needed they could run the risk of 2 or 3 tests occuring simultaneously and unable to fill spots.

funny story about the parking at the physical...first of all i circled for a few minutes looking for a spot and couldn't find anything!....then this lady pulled out and not only did I get a spot but she gave me her munimeter receipt that still had 2 hours left on it!!!! i was ecstatic and couldn't stop thanking her.... i didn't even have any quarters on me to begin with let alone a spot!

what's also funny is that I showed up a day after I was supposed to take the physical!!! I had the wrong date in my head! I was ****ting bricks!!!! but they let me take the physical anyways!

good luck to all! 95% of people shouldn't have a problem passing!

epson,ebony,epoxy lol

Well they would alert me or just tell me if it were something of value. I dont hold a high position but when it comes to sanitation workers i try to be informed about stuff going on. I dont even think most of them knew of it eithr because this is something DCAS does. Everyone knows we aren't going thru the list like we used to. Thats why I dont know they are doing the test.

Perhaps its just to get it out of the way and get that money order you need to give in when you go take the test.

My office has been taking alot of calls from people all excited feeling they are going to be hired soon and their list number is like 4365 ( picked it at randon ). So i feel bad because they are being lead on so badly.

Default Will I Get Called?

I took the Sanitation Exam (6063) and my overall score was in the 90's. My List # is 13,*** out of 29,224. Do I have any chance getting called up before the deadline, which by the way is 2/20/12. Can someone please assist? I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in-advance!

they only went up to list #9xxx from the last exam...they didn't even make it up to list #500 on this current exam and there are no more expected classes this year...there would have to be a MASS RETIREMENT and the city somehow finds some money, for you to be hired.
