Default steamfitter

I may have an opportunity to get into local 638 (steamfitters) and am considering this being that it could be some time before I get called for san man. I was just looking for some feedback if anyone out there is knowledgeable about this union compared to being a san man, pros and cons, etc.

Hopefully they got his license plate, make and model of his car, there had to be witnesses since there must have been a loud argument beforehand. Word will spread around the dept about his partner. Had to be a junior guy, would find it hard to believe that a senior guy or his steady partner would just takeoff and leave him there.

One of the oldest workers of the NYC Sanitation Dept at 74,he started late though at 53,I believe 79 is the oldest ever, that sanman who put in 50 yrs who passed away earlier this year.

Now, Ramos wants his assailant caught. "[He] shouldn't be on the loose," said Ramos.

What S/W Ramos meant to say is "He shouldn't be on the job" referring to his partner.

No he meant himself. 74 is too old to pick up garbage. I wish him luck and a good retirement.

That San Wrk should get beat up. How can you leave your partner . I would never do that. Granted of course my partner isn't the one starting it.
