yea it does suck .. don't wish that on anyone.. i hope those guys will be alright, and the family of the victim .....

They will both be pissed, If they are positive they will both be fired. Depending on the circumstances of the accident ie person was crossing with the light while the truck was turning(thats usually how it happens) the driver will probably still be fired (because he is on probation). This will distance the Department If there is a civil suit. Regardless, sucks for all those involved.

i work in construction and i was speaking to someone on the job that is also trying to get into DSNY now and he was telling me that if there are people on the list that know someone that works for DSNY they have higher priority. can anyone tell me if this is true?
