Just a thought.....

This thread was, and is still very useful to the people waiting to get on, and to those of us that have already been hired, but it is turning very childish with the way some people post there thoughts.....

Lets put the computer tough guy image that some people seem to have on this forum to rest, and lets just continue posting and/or reading the useful information that is written on here....

Like I said, just a thought.......

another question..... If the next exam is going to be in two years , then I might as well let the exam expire and wait for the next testing unit to begin correct? if there are people still waiting to get put on that took the test in 2008 , don't they get first priority , which leaves little to no chance at all for the people who will take the test in 2011 to get hired before it expires in 2012....

Hey, you have to wait till the test in 2011 and those scores will be calculated and then when the #6063 expires they will start to take from the new list they make!

No,I am not on the job,but someday I will be no matter how long it takes. I am in round 2. The Kuai is a good guy but he makes wise cracks every now and then on here,it's all good. Sometimes a little drama is needed in here.....

As for them extending a exam if they want to make some money why would they .They could just let the exam expire and just let people pay all over again. If im not mistaken the last exam before 6063 was filed while the guys were still out on layoff's back in 2001 or 2002..I remember people asking why they were having a exam if there were people still laidoff.
I thought the last time there were layoffs was in 2003?They hired 0 for 2002,but my reasoning is because of the cleanup after 9/11...still they hired 1,947 from the 1999 exam.

No matter how you slice it and dice it this list(6063)is getting short changed big time through no fault of their own. It's too bad others don't see it that way.

I don't quite understand , when 6063 expires in 2012 , will my name still be active on the list for hiring ..... or will I need to take the test over to be eligible?

If the list EXPIRES before u get on, it generally means u would have to take another test, because that one EXPIRED..there is no eternal list. And thats not directed at you johnny, but the constant misinformation on this board by guys that started 6 months ago but got it all figured out..
