Thanks for the tip. My cousin is otj and he told me to go to Jo-Pauls. I live in Greenpoint/williamsburg so the Bronx is a little out of the way.

I heard at first you have to get whatever type of pants fbf tells you. They may not want you to wear dickies.

About the dark green dickie pants . they are not proper uniform. you can / will get banged. NEW GUYS dont listen to guys on this thread that tell you to buy your uniforms"off the truck." These are knock offs. and anybody within 1 mile can tell this. Just spend the money on proper uniforms... its just 2 long sleeve, 2 short sleeve, 2 pair of pants, winter jacket, summer cap,and winter cap. the rest is optional ... but buy a few DSNY T-shirts cause the button downs(official shirts) get hot quick .Hope to see ALL you guys behind the truck this summer.

Yes do not buy the dark green Dickies The Dickies Im talking about are the lite green work pants which are legit the dark ones are no good.I also wear red naps which are just as comfortable as Dickies .Dickies and Red Naps have a Eye hook instead of the buttom which will just pop off in time.

I made a weak attempt to show up last time I got my jury duty notice. I got stuck behind a sanitation truck which couldn't get around a double parked ups truck on a side street. Parking was extremely difficult to find on a weekday morning in Jamaica. So i just went home. Contempt of court,.
Next time I do get called in for jury duty I will show up early by taking the subway. Does that information have to be disclosed in the 20 page booklet?
