In other words it's not the midwest that's moved into Greenpoint, it's Long Island.

haha - there's a decent mix of new genres in Greenpoint. That which you speak of is more in Bushwick / East Williamsburg.

Makes sense to me. They want to be close to the city yet not to far from their families on Long Island. Not sure why that would make them traitors.
