The 5 boroughs of NYC don't have Walmart, but you can find plenty of Wal-Marts in New Jersey & Long Island. There's even one in White Plains (Westchester County) & out in Rockland County as well. You basically have to leave the city. Use the "Store Finder" feature on the Walmart website.
I shop at the Bayonne Walmart every so often on the way home from work.
When did they open it? Recently?
They dub it a SUPERCENTER but many of the reviews call it "small." Is it?

Definitely not a true supercenter. They probably get away with calling it one because it has the food sections, unlike the one in Woodbridge. They have a lot of electronics but are lacking in other departments. I went last week for a car booster seat for my daughter and they didn't have any at all. It has been open for at least two years as far as I know. I only recently started shopping there but I passed it numerous times before.
