It also depends on the nabe. For example, Jackson Heights has a lot of people going there that do not actually live there. Maybe you lived in a crap nabe that no one was interested in ever visiting.

Of course the doorman knows everyone. That's his job.

It's very ugly of you to resort to insults in order to try to make your point. I am guessing the majority of people in the 12 buildings times 13 stories on your block who knew you didn't like you because you seem like a jerk.

what a shame that people assume that where they are a lot of blacks it means there's crime and upheaval.

move to Jackson Heights, lots of latinos and asians there.
