Clubs and thangs (York: school, live, nightclub)

Does anyone know of any venues that specifically cater to the over thirty crowd, that I might patronize when I get there?

You know, someplace to hear some good music, possibly live
ole school R&B, Jazz, Soul, Blues that sort of thing.

The Shadow has been known for a while now as a popular 30+ spot.

I used to go to Mikael's, The Blue Note (jazz)

and SOB's in the village (type of music varies).

Don't know what's still there, that was years ago, but they're all nice clubs for older crowd.

Pick up a copy of the "Village Voice".
