In flushing, I've started to really like Sentosa. It's more modern and actually a Malaysian-Chinese fusion, but their dishes are fantastic. Not traditional chinese food but still taste great.
Traditional chinese vs American chinese vs Takeout chinese really should be 3 separate categories. I like American chinese food more than the traditional. Traditional is always the same thing in family style: fish, chinese, pork, beef, vegetable, and a soup. And they only have so many different variations of flavor for each, so if you've tried it once, you've tried it all.
Thanks for alerting us about the new name for Wing Wong. It's one of the restaurants that was recommended to us when we first contemplated going to Chinatown.

There's another one across from Queens Library that I forget the name of.. Right in the middle of other restaurants but yeah.. All in Flushing. You can even try food at New World Mall. There's a couple of REALLY good Chinese food places that aren't typically "restaurants". They're in other department stores but hey.. gotta explore if you wanna find those good ones jaja
Is that the one with the giant noodle bowl on the roof near the LIRR? Used to get lunch from there too but can't remember the name.
Yeah.. Actually it wasn't in the middle now that I think of it. It's right across Starbucks, right on the corner next to a KTV. That's the one I'm talking about at least..
