I was in NYC a couple weeks ago and took this picture. It is one of my favorite pictures from my trip and I have been trying to figure out exactly where I was. I think this was shortly after I had eaten at Gaia's Italian Cafe (inexpensive and highly recommended) on Houston Street in East Village and was walking west on Houston to find a metro station.
However, I have been trying to find the spot, using Google Maps street view, but have not been able to find it.
Pretty sure that is located on Houston Street between 1st and Ave A. Much closer to 1st ave.
