This was a bad accident that thankfully did not cause fatalities. I know it's Times square, But between traffic and pedestrians it's a madhouse and way too crowded especially with the construction going on.

One of the drivers was just arrested and charged with DWI. Hardly an accident.

It was over the counter medication induced impairment, not alcohol.

Glad that it wasn't worse. It's amazing more accidents don't happen considering the clusterf** that Times Square/Theater district is.

And? Driving while impaired is driving while impaired.

Standards are usually stricter for commercial drivers, than regular drivers.

Scroll to the link "You and the Drinking Driving Laws"
For example, CDL limit is .04% alcohol, while regular is .08.
The article says he had an NJ DL. Who knew that NYC bus drivers didn't need NY DLs?

Agreed. I never drive to Manhattan because of all the traffic.

Not just all the traffic, but the road rage as well. Almost daily I see people battle it out on the streets.

And? That was my point. He was a commercial driver using over the counter medicine and was cited for driving under the influence. Most people never consider over the counter medicine and the affect it can have on you.
