Default Tutoring for kids
Hi all,

I am looking for tutoring service for Reading and Writing. There are a few tutoring centers in Brooklyn. I am not sure which one is good. My kids are in 1st and 3rd grade. Help!

There's Kumon, which uses the drill system to make sure no child moves on until he/she passes. Bklyn has plenty of tutoring services, you have to explore and visit. Look on Craigslist or search parentsknow.com. Both sites give great listing of tutoring centers in Brooklyn.

It is reasonably priced private tutoring compared to Kumon and other provider in New York City. Also, the tutoring can be done in your own home so you don't have to travel. The tutors are all Ivy League educated and went through the NYC education system, so they have first-hand knowledge.
