Question Need help: Queens or the Bronx?

I'm trying to move out of Manhattan because it is too expensive.

I have two options: Bedford Park, Bronx or Woodside, Queens.

I will be commuting to school in University Heights, Bronx or Long Island City, Queens.

I also commute to Allerton Ave. on the 2 train or Bx26.

I guess it depends on where you go to school - BCC or LGCC. if you go to BCC then ofcourse BX is more convenient

Do you mean that you will either go to school in the Bronx or Queens? If that's the case I would say Bedford Park if going to school in the Bronx and Woodside if going to school in LIC. We live in Bedford Park on Mosholu Parkway and think its great, but I think Woodside is very nice too. I'd choose whatever takes less time commuting. If you'll be going to school and working too you won't have a lot of extra time on your hands.

Both are decent neighborhoods, but personally I'd go with Woodside. Its in Queens, has a better reputation, and I believe is much closer to Manhattan commuting wise.
