It was like this last year in August. Looking at the big picture: this is pretty strange. Don't get me wrong, I love this kind of weather. The cool breeze, the crispness without a need for a hoodie...I'm all for it. However, growing up August was always the month where it was the hottest and you would dread it. Now, it's basically the month of cooling temperatures and preparing for the fall.

It's just a cyclical weather pattern. It was pretty hot and humid for much of summer. We didnt get alot of 90+ degree days but we got a lot of the upper 80s with a lot of humidity.
You guys can have that weather. Ill take these temps we have been having the past few days.
LOVE the cool weather this past week.
Actually the whole Summer has been free of the broiling days of yore. I could happily take today's weather 365 days of the year.
Well said. Running the AC this summer has been killing my utility bill
I wish every day was just like this
True. Not having to use too much of the AC my utility bill this year has been ok compared to two years ago when temps were above mid 90's for a solid week or two. Bonus to have this kind of summer after the horrendous winter.
Can't complain, I'd take this over heat, stench and humidity any day!
