Hmm, you know that Palestinians are direct descendants of Jews that have never left the region? This has been confirmed by genetic studies.
There are still Arab Jews & Palestinian Jews
Palestinians are not only descendants from the Jews. Plenty of ethnic groups make up the Palestinian body such as caanites, Sea people's who are from Greece, Macedonian Greeks who conquered Judea during Alexander the Great Conquest of the middle east and last Arab. Remember during ancient times Jews and gentiles lived side by side. Thankfully both groups lived under a foreign entity like Persia. Greece or Rome.
Nowadays there are some wealthy Israelis. So saying that all of their financing comes from outside of Israel is not reality.
What Israel is sitting on is a highly educated population from which many important inventions and discoveries have come from.
Only because people chose to work with them. Why did they do this instead of investing domestically where ever they are?
Highly educated workforce ? ? ? USA has a highly educated workforce too, as does USSR at the time, and West Germany, and western Europe like Scandinavia.
I think the Jews should go back to Europe. Fascist, and Marxist regimes that marginalized Jews are gone in Europe are long gone.
Spain is offering right of return and free citizenship to Jews that have Sephardi Jewish ancestry in their genealogy. Many are taking up the offer and settling and/or taking back citizenship. Portugal and other European nations are following suit because they want to make amends for the past and/or feel that Jews are an asset and integral part of Europe and that the Jews contributed much to European nations.

I wish i could live 200+years to witness how future repeats the past...

Jews are a much more beneficial minority than the "religion of peace" savages, that's for sure. At this point, anything a European nation can do to encourage Jewish re-immigration as opposed to savagery is a step in the right direction. The EU is starting to see the errors of it's "tolerant" ways. Hopefully we do the same before it is too late.

Relative to its size Israeli workforce is more highly educated than the American workforce.
As for domestic investing vs. international investing that could be said for any international investing not only about Israel.

I have heard about this, that Spain offers Sephardic Jews the right to return back to Spain. Plenty of Sphardic Jews live in Turkey and Greece. 1492 Spain kicked out hundreds of thousands of Jews out of its Kingdom. The Ottoman Sultan saw opportunity and took plenty of Spanish Jews to live in Ottoman province of Greece and Asia Minor. Plenty of Spanish Jews called Constantinople their home. Thessaloniki in Greece was home to plenty of Spanish Jews. When Spain kicked the Jews out, many Jews had professions in areas like medicine, banking and education which were beneficial for producing a prosperous society. Spanish economy tanked when the Jews were expelled. What saved Spain was the discovery of gold in the Americas and trading silver worldwide. Spain today is a shadow of its former grandeur days. They will sure need Jews who are culturally mercantile to rebuild back its economic power.

I agree here. Europe has had a rough history with Jews historically. Its not only because of the Nazis and later Communist regimes of Eastern Europe. Russian and Austrian-Hungarian Empires had Jews confined to ghettos and other forms of pogroms. This explains why so many Jews left Russia and Austria during the turn of the 20th century and filled the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Napoleon during the French Revolution gave Jews equality which was promised under the slogan brotherhood, equality and liberty. Through out the French Empire Jews like in Italy lived in horrible slums. Spain and Portugal kicked out their Jews, Jews did not want to leave its either death or convert to a Catholic. Byzantine Empire also discriminated against Jews. Emperor Justinian was not tolerant of Jews. Events such as the Crusades and the Black Death saw Jews as scapegoats with many dying by the hands of Catholics. Christian Roman Empire, Jews were forbidden to own slaves and Jews were confined to ghettos. Prior to Christian Rome, Pagan Rome did not like Jews either. Pagan Rome destroyed the Jewish temple and erased the Jewish nation of the face of the map. Greek Macedonian Kings which were successors of Alexander the Great, Jews were 2nd class citizens. In Greek Seleucid Empire, the Greeks wanted Jews to worship Greek gods and name their kids in Greek names. Jews rebelled and with a lamp that only had 1 day of oil lasted for 8 days, making Chanukah a very popular holiday in todays NYC and Israel. I don't know how can Europe can fix its historic problems with the Jews? Every European power has marginalized Jews from one point to another!

Germany pays an indemnity to Israel because of the Holocaust which is in the billions. U.S is not the only country that aids Israel.

Then why even bring up the patents and hi-tech discoveries or whatever? They could have been done anywhere. They can be done just about anywhere right now or in the future.

Well factually they were done in Israel and it is well known that Jews tend to value education. Therefore Israel does have a highly educated population and one of the posters had indicated that there is no benefit to the world that Israel exists which I believe is incorrect.
Politics aside, yet another security breach on a NY bridge? WTF?!
