Across Brooklyn Bike Route : (Bedford, Hudson: safe, park, places)

Will be on an upcoming solo bicycle tour of Hudson river valley and NYC. Looking for
suggestions on route across Brooklyn . Going from Manhattan and /or Brooklyn Bridge to Fort Tilden/ Floyd Bennet Field. Thanks

I don't know about that in particular but might I suggest also looking into the coastal region of Brooklyn?

Its very beautiful side of NYC you don't see or hear about often

Take either Ocean Parkway to Neptune Ave. or Bedford Ave. to Emmons Ave. and then head east. It's self-explanatory from there.

You might want to make the majority of your trip through Brooklyn on Ocean Pkwy. There is good, safe bike path to ride to there.

Yes, Norwood Boy, it runs from Prospect Park to the Atlantic Ocean. It is on the sidewalk and protected from traffic. The only places where you have to encounter traffic is at the cross streets.
