It might in states which have a points reciprocity agreement with NY, but the local cops probably wouldn't act on it because NY wouldn't bother extradicting for such minor issues.
Just pay the $180 ticket. It'll follow you for the rest of your life and just keep on growing with interest. You won't get any points of your license, as a bicycle isn't a motorized vehicle. And the guy above me is correct, they will issue a warrant. I've heard stories about a 70year old guy who forgot to pay an open container ticket 30 years ago get thrown in jail because of the outstanding warrent he had for 30 years.

$270!!! That's crazy!!! Mine was $180, but it was late at night on a dead street.
I actually couldn't find a denomination for the citation on my ticket, so I asked a fellow city data poster who has received the same ticket what his fine was.
