That's pretty freaking bad. I'd say Bed-Stuy along with Bushwick has got to be the rat capital of the city.

Sadly this is nothing new. Rats have been attacking infants/children in their beds or prams for ages. They are often drawn to the scent of milk either on the child or from the bottle. Then there is the fact a bold rat or rats will simply see the infant as prey....

Many, many movies about life for African Americans and or even whites living in slum/ghetto conditions have scenes reflecting the oft real life events of children being bitten/attacked by rats.

The Great White Hope, Native Son, an episode of Call the Midwife, are but a few.

Wavecrest Management looks to be a slumlord enterprise.

Wavecrest Management Team LTD - Richmond Hill - Richmond Hill, NY | Yelp

And they have their little review page on google and it's s***.

ill! there must be at least 3 times as many rats as people in nyc.

it's sad that so many people are stuck where they live too, right
next to all those unseen rats.

If you have rats in your apartment trust me you'll know it! *LOL*

Moi? I'd be out of there in a NYC second but sadly others have no choice. You'd be surprised at how many New Yorkers pay rent to live in rat trap buildings (literally). They dread the arrival of dusk through dawn just as those mythical villagers/town residents that have vampire problems. *LOL*
