Wow, can't believe they would say that. Was it that your log number was too high? This is one of the most unorganized lotteries. Lotteries that started way after, are already moving people In.
Very unorganized. My log number is 24xxx for them. But hear this; I was contacted by Hunters point and my log number is 28xxx. All I have is city preference. Related (which is the company that handles hunters point) is much more organized and thorough. I'm still waiting for them to contact me but at least it seems I'm still in the game. I gave in all my documents so far.
Wow, that's crazy! Related is much more organized and on point. That's for sure. It's truly a shame that they're keeping ppl waiting like this. I have a fair log # for E.J Hobbs 4xx no preference, interviewed In oct 2014. Still nothing.
I have mixed feeling feelings now on Related. Despite being organized, they do not know how to answer the phones. I'm still waiting for them to call me back. For some reason, I feel they want to drag their feet with low income apartments. I had another low income apartment application pending from last year (MHANY affordable apartments in Brooklyn) and it's been more than six months. Brought in all my stuff and still haven't heard anything from them either. I'm losing hope with affordable housing.
The whole process just drags & drags. It's so unfortunate, I've had my experience with related as well. These people don't like to be reached. Try calling a main number & speaking to a manager.

I actually decided to stop calling Related; I gave up. For Hunters point, I just don't think they are going to call me. I believe they are focusing on middle and higher income brackets; I am in the lower income bracket. People had interviews after me and are signing leases as we speak. My interview was from 2/25. It is what it is.
I was recently contacted to come in for an interview - it's been so long since applications started I had forgotten I'd applied! I can't seem to find any details on the building besides exterior photos.
Does anyone know if tenants have moved in yet? Are there any interior photos or floor plans anywhere? Or details on amenities?
Thanks in advance to anyone with more info to provide
Most of us had our interviews in October and haven't heard back since. Maybe they are just completely starting over!!
