Cuomo and Christie were forced to change their policies by the medical industry and the federal government.'

"The Obama administration suggested otherwise. Officials said the quarantine rules could create “a system of perverse incentives,” encouraging health care workers to fly into a different airport, like Atlanta or Washington Dulles, outside states that had adopted the new policies."

That was what Henna basically said. Healthcare workers could have flown into Atlanta or DC, then booked a domestic flight to return to NYC so Cuomo and Christie's plan would do absolutely nothing.

Governor Cuomo has modified the NY State policy but Governor Christie is standing strong and not changing the NJ's strict restrictions (meaning hasn't been forced to do anything so far).

Not true. Christie has backtracked as well.

"After Mr. Cuomo’s announcement, Mr. Christie issued a statement saying that, under protocols announced on Wednesday, New Jersey residents not displaying symptoms would also be allowed to quarantine in their homes."

When I wrote it I had heard that Governor Christie had not backed down but I am glad to see he is more realistic/flexible. Any way, the nurse that was quarantined in NJ is being released and she is being flown privately to Maine.
