He just won something this mid term elections. I forget specifically what.
He used to be an FBI agent, worked undercover to expose white collar crime on Wall Street, he supports Israel, does not want to airstrike Syria, I think he believes climate change is real.
He reps NYC somewhere. What do you guys think of him?
Other than a 20-count pending federal indictment and a public anger management problem, he seems like an upstanding guy /sarcasm He's a SI/BK rep, not on my ballot.
SI often votes conservative, but the Dem running against him was a complete, blathering idiot, so it came down to a dolt and a criminal. For pete's sakes, can nobody in this city field a decent new politician who isn't about to enter club fed and can speak in complete sentences?
Although his pending trial does not make me happy, Mike Grimm is the only politician I've ever had communication with who comes across like a regular guy who cares. He worked hard for me on a personal issue when local state reps ignored me. For that, he will always have my vote.
Definitely has anger management problems but if he can clear congress of the Wesen infestation that has plagued it for decades things might get better for him with that pesky 20 count indictment.
He seems to be the target of an abusive police state and government that is targeting him for who he is. I guess he is getting a taste of his own medicine since the FBI is a corrupt organization that bullies and intimidates and fabricates charges often and doesn't follow the law or does what is right.
This guy seems a little too emotional to be a politician.
I mean that's the thing about being a politician, is that people are going to hate you. Bloomberg, Obama, George W Bush, Giuliani, Dinkins all have a legion of haters.
