What's your # to be a cop? 15,000 on a good day? Look at that black cop hitting the farebeater in the head with the baton. Even after cracking that punks head, he still could not bring that fare beater down. Look at the size of that cop? 5'7? 5'8? Look at your typical NYS Trooper compared to the NYPD. Look at your typical suburban cops compared to the city guys. Zero comparison.
To be fair, I think that the department of sanitation had numbers like those because of the requirements. You only need a high school diploma & a cdl permit to be hired technically. For the NYPD you need 60 college credits & I think 45 to start your training in the academy.

But I agree with you & the other poster on the hiring practices, that definitely needs to be overhauled.

Also, that Black cop definitely looks much more in shape than your average New Yorker.

Expecting a Negligent Homicide charge out of this at least. At worst, a 2nd Degree Manslaughter charge. Poor guy.

Tons of people are just arseholes. I knew any arsehole who was disrespectful to the kids of this building. Throwing garbage out the window and everything on the kids because he did not like him. He did that because the kids did not know how to fight back. Once again tons of arseholes all over the place.

That being said, the reason he was about to start working for the city is because before this he was selling drugs.

Just sayin.......
What is this? An attempt to justify his death? No reason to mention it otherwise.

Are you seriously insinuating that the height of NYS troopers and typical suburban cops make them somehow better than the NYPD? lol...
