NY DMV must OK Arkansas Driver's License
I had to obtain a letter of clearance from NY DMV to renew my Arkansas DL. Some guy with my name with different date of birth received a DWI and missed his court date 15 years ago in NY. I wish my NY counterpart was at least criminally more creative. Why would Arkansas care about something so petty. The amazing part is NY DMV people were helpful (The Arkansas State folks are common idiots). Has anything like this happened to anyone else? Someday I will find my NY counterpart with my name, and take a Louisville Slugger to him for wasting my time.
