Hello everyone!
I am a 19 year old college student moving from Florida to NYC in January for school. Will be staying on campus at Brooklyn College hopefully. I am an Actor which is the primary reason for the move. Will most likely be commuting to Manhattan for work and auditions when possible so this includes late nights. Is the Flatbush/college station a safe place? How is the surrounding area around Brooklyn college at night?
Thanks again!

No matter where you are in the city to good to exercise caution everywhere you are.

With that being said, the BC area is fine, more or less, during the daytime, but things can get sketchy after dusk.

Travel in groups when possible.
Stay in well lit areas/streets.
Limit your time outside during these times.
Stay alert and be aware of people walking behind you especially.

You should be good.
