I am looking at an apartment on this block...would this be a good street to live on?

Yes, great neighborhood. It can get a bit rowdy in the summertime, but the area is rapidly changing and you are at the epicenter of the Prospect/Crown Heights transformation.

What PullingHairs wrote. Although this isn't my favorite part of Prospect Heights (while this used to be prime Prospect Heights territory, and still is to many, I'm glad we invested in a location closer to Barclays and Atlantic Yards project), it's still great. You'll be next to Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park, Grand Army Plaza, Library and shops on Washington, Franklin, and Vanderbilt.
