So I was ready to sign up but then I told the guy if I could take a tour.
I found out there are no Olympic benches and not a single squat rack. Are you kidding me?

So now I'm looking for another gym that doesn't cost more than $40 per month, preferably around downtown Brooklyn or downtown Manhattan.

Thanks in advance.

Blink fitness is $15 per month.

There is also the NYC recreation center gyms that are even less.

People like Blink, I have heard from many. Many people dumped NYSC (125th in particular) in favor.

I go to Equinox and therefore no firsthand experience with Blink. I did sign up on a whim but have yet to visit.

Here is info on the city-owned rec centers. If you are 18-24 years old, the membership is only $25 per year. I think otherwise it is around $100 to $150 per year.

Isn't this the same poster that was struggling to find a 2 bed 2 bath apartment on a $70k salary...Seems like you should seriously consider one of these $40 gyms too. I'm just saying...
