Listen to what Charles Barkley said on CNN. He said it all and it was honest and from a different perspective and that's what the general public needed to hear.
Anyways, thanks to all the protesters for ruining people's commute home last night. The actions last night didn't create world peace and it doesn't make people colorblind.
Protest in your hearts and not outside. It's safer that way and less clutter during rush hour.
Sometimes I get upset about traffic jams that happen for different reasons (accidents or like above protest), but then I think to myself, At least I get to go home, even if it is a little later than usual.

in the course of human history, when has that ever changed anything?

A lot of these protestors are a bunch of bored low lifes that just want to cause problems. They don't have the brain power to look at an incident from a unbiased prospective. They hate the police and they just want to make the lives of many commuters miserable. Even David Dinkins on Good Day NY said this morning that he does not agree with the decision of the courts but thought the protestors were just there to cause problems. The worst are the animals that loot. I wish the cops or the army were allowed to shoot those bastards.
Do people on here complaining realize that protesting is part of American history, right? It's the foundation of it actually. If there was no protesting, there wouldn't even be a USA.
I appreciate everyone's comments because from history, we can all tell, protests lead to nothing. The price of a Metrocard fare will always go up no matter how much we protest. It is what it is.
The stonewall protests lead to the gay civil rights movement, which led to gays in the military, gay marriage, etc.
We all know what the civil rights protests lead to.
The women's rights protests lead to the women's rights protests and women being allowed the same educational and professional opportunities as men.
Environmental activism lead to the creation of the EPA and state agencies regulating the environment.
I'm sure work routines were disrupted in these protests as well, but as a rule protesters have never cared.
When we had the American Revolution, I'm sure rebelling against the British disrupted someone's job too. But it created the USA.
