I need to move back to the city from Indianapolis. I have been sending my resume a lot of places. I am currently still in school (2 years completed in college) and I have experience in clerical/admin./customer service field of almost 5 years...

Once I find a job I can find where I will live at. Does anybody know anywhere hiring or anyplace who interviews quickly? I am trying to move before Valentine's Day on my birthday. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

When you say admin/clerical experience, how complicated? Did you support Executive level managers at a Fortune 500 company, or did you file for a 3 person company?

This will determine what type of jobs you can be up for. I'm an Exec Asst and have interviewed all over the city. You can get very good money if you have the right experience and skills. If you just have basic clerical skills, you will be fighting against tons of people for those same basic jobs.

competition for those jobs in the city is competitive with a very large number of applicants, so you need apply hard and keep pushing

Yes, there is a LARGE applicant pool for general clerical jobs.

If you have advanced knowledge of Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook, calendar scheduling, report generating and have supported executive level managers at a well known company, you'll have an edge.
