Just today I had 2 slices at Rocky's on Church ave/Coney Island ave. Thin crust, but it was good.

It has lots of pies with choice of toppings, lots of portraits of Stallone, and gangsta movies such as Godfather, of Ali, etc.
and for some reason right above the cashier on the wall a photo of... Tawana Brawley! yes, that girl who claimed a cop did #2 on her back in the 80's.
I did not even bother to ask.

Does giuseppina's sell slices or is it a sit down restaurant

But I am the only one who mentioned the most famous pizza place in Brooklyn, Grimaldi's.
They opened a place on Stillwell ave(Coney Island), so no need to go to the original one.
The original one is not even the original one. Its run by some corporation that bought out the Grimaldi name.
The original Grimaldi's is still next door at the original locations, now named Juliana's, and Patsy Grimaldi is still personally running it.

I'm proud that no one until you has named new corporate Grimalidi's the best pizza, because frankly the place is tourist trap and the pizza is soggy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grimaldi's_Pizzeria
sure is a big ownership and rights mess, but atleast: "Zagat Survey has rated Grimaldi's No. 1 Pizzeria in New York"

I may have found my favorite, having tried it a few times over the last few years but recently as a guest of family members.

Rubirosa on Mulberry between Spring & Prince. I have had about half of their pies. Some are better than others but my faves are the Fresca and the Classic.

Anyone like or dislike Rubirosa?

Juliana's. Mind you I have only eaten at approx 6 pizza joints in NYC, but Juliana's was fantastic. Hard to imagine better.
